STAFF

Boston Scores is led by a headquarters staff of 15 that possesses deep experience in youth development and share a commitment to a just and equitable future for all.

Members of our staff manage more than 120 Coach-Mentors who deliver our programs at Boston Public Schools and community partner sites. Coach-Mentors are recruited from the current teaching staff at the schools where we deliver our programs as well as from the local community and area colleges and universities.

    Ive joined Boston Scores in 2013. She is responsible for overseeing and approving Scores academic curricula at each age level and is the point person for our partnerships with Boston Public Schools and Boston After School & Beyond. She is a Massachusetts certified teacher in History for grade levels 5-12. Ive has classroom experience teaching middle school and high school Social Studies. Ive earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Boston University and a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership & Management from Northeastern. Her favorite team is Manchester United.

    Senior Program Manager - High School

    Ethan came to Boston Scores as an AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow in 2014. Ethan manages our Grade 9-12 programs, including academic enrichment, our partnership with South End Soccer, six competitive BAYS teams for boys & girls, and a coach-mentor staff of 12 staff and volunteers. Prior to joining Scores Ethan was a soccer coach and English teacher in Israel with Yahel Learning Service. He played soccer at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology.

    Allison originally joined Boston Scores in 2016.  After taking a break for a couple of years to start a family, Allison returned in the spring of 2022 and came back full-time later that year. As the Senior Program Manager, she is responsible for the creation of new Boston Scores programming in East Boston as well as overseeing all of our coach training initatives.  Allison is a life-long soccer player and played collegiate soccer at Springfield College.  She holds a Master’s in Public Health from Northeastern University and coached the Girl’s Varsity Soccer team at Medford High School.

    Program Manager, Enrichment & Evaluation

    Kieran started at Boston Scores in 2017 as a writing coach and joined our full-time staff a year later. He oversees our Elementary School enrichment program and also coordinates all of our data collection and analysis. Kieran has a Writing, Literature, & Publishing degree from Emerson College. He is an AmeriCorps VISTA alum and previously worked at youth writing non-profit 826 Boston. An avid poet, Kieran is a frequest host at the Boston Poetry Slam and serves as the coach of Emerson’s quidditch team.

    Gaby joined Boston Scores in 2020. Gaby oversees our Middle School enrichment program, including supporting our One Hen coach-mentors and gender-specific teams in the creation of their small businesses. Gaby played field hockey at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology. Gaby has extensive experience working with middle and high school youth in the after-school arena in her previous roles at Scholar Athletes and Girls Inc. of Worcester.

    Marcos joined Boston Scores as a soccer and enrichment coach at the Donald McKay K-8 School in East Boston in the spring of 2022. In July of the same year, he joined Scores’ full-time staff as our Elementary School Soccer Coordinator. Marcos received his BA in English at UMass Lowell and also serves as a girls coach at the Juventus Academy Boston. Marcos has roots from Chalatenango, El Salvador and now resides in Everett, Mass. He supports the 14-time Champions League winner, Real Madrid.

    Molly joined Boston Scores in June 2022 and oversees our Middle School Soccer Program.  Molly played soccer at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where she also graduated with a degree in visual art.  She also has a Master of Science in Athletic Administration at Boston College.  Molly has previous experience teaching middle school Health/Physical Education and has also coached youth soccer in and around the Boston area for many years.

    After serving as our Chief Operating Officer for seven years, Andy stepped across the hallway in 2022 to work with our Development Team and lead staff efforts around our forthcoming capital campaign.  Andy previously worked in the Olympic Games, as General Manager of the Boston Breakers women’s soccer team and as Executive Director of the New England chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance. He has designed courses in Sports Management and Marketing for UMass-Lowell and Endicott College. Born and raised in Brighton, Mass., Andy is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta.

    Donna joined Boston Scores in 2022. She is responsible for grant writing and reporting, relationship building our foundation partners and managing Scores’ social media channels and external communications. Donna has 10+ years experience with grant writing, marketing, and relationship building in a non-profit setting. Donna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Prevention Science at The University of Oklahoma. She is passionate about using the intrinsic value of athletics to improve physical and emotional health outcomes for future generations. During her free time she loves to go on nature walks and spend time with family and friends.

    John joined Boston Scores in December 2020, and is responsible for building & developing successful relationships with the local corporate community. John brings over twenty years of experience at the professional & international level, having worked in Women’s Professional Soccer, Major League Lacrosse, as well as multiple international events & tournaments, including Copa America Centenario in 2016. He has also coached soccer since 1994 at multiple levels and is a trainer for Positive Coaching Alliance.

    Colette Anton joined Boston Scores in 2022 as our Event Coordinator & Development Associate. Colette is responsible for coordinating Scores’ major fundraising events throughout the year and for administering the technology side of our fundraising activities. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from McGill University in Montreal, QC. Colette has extensive experience with non-profit community-based programming and event management and is thrilled to channel her talents into support for the mission of Boston Scores.

    John is responsible for the overall executive management of Boston Scores, including Board stewardship, partnerships, strategic relationships and major donor advancement. Prior to joining Boston Scores, John held Executive Director positions with Courageous Sailing and The Barton Center for Diabetes Education. In addition to his non-profit experience, he practiced law for ten years in both private practice and as in-house counsel. John is a graduate of the UMass Amherst and the Boston University School of Law.

    Chief Administrative Officer

    Kelly manages the integrity and implementation of all financial & administrative operations for Boston Scores. She is a Certified Non-Profit Accounting Professional (CNAP) experienced in the administration of federal and international funding. Kelly joined Boston Scores in 2016 as part of our merger with One Hen, Inc., where she served as Finance Manager. Kelly brings keen analytic & organizational skills to the team along with a passion for a moral economy, one oriented toward the common good. She has a B.S. (honors) degree from the Open University, UK.

    David joined Boston Scores team in 2022 as our Finance Associate. He has over seven years of local non-profit experience, including previous work at Community Art Center in Cambridge and United South End Settlements in Boston. David originally hails from Canton, Ohio and has a degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati and Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. An avid sports fan, his favorite athlete is Travis Kelce.
