No. Camp is open to all rising 3rd to 8th graders no matter if they participate in Boston Scores during the school year or not.
Boston Scores prioritizes a “whole child” approach in our programming.
The enrichment program will include creative writing and self expression via poetry, and service learning lessons. In alignment with out year-round curriculum we will also be offering classroom sessions designed to highlight entrepreneurship and leadership.
These lessons will vary from week to week.
In order to elevate our enrichment opportunities for attendees, we work with local organizations to bring in a variety of “experts” related to music, art, and nutrition to lead workshops. These guests will rotate weekly.
Campers will be participating in soccer every day at camp, so they should have appropriate athletic clothes and shin guards.
If campers choose to wear them they must also bring alternate shoes to wear during classroom sessions. Cleats are not required to attend.
Our soccer curriculum will be focused on technical and tactical skill building.
Students will compete in skill stations based around technical ability and participate in game play each day.
There is no skill-level necessary to participate.
