Inspired Art Spring 2024
Date and location coming soon!

Inspired Art is an art exhibition & reception resulting from a unique collaboration between local artists and Boston Scores elementary school Poet-Athletes.

Community artists review a book of poems composed recently by Boston Scores 4th-6th grade Poet-Athletes. Selecting one poem as their inspiration, each creator contributes one piece in their favored medium (pencil, ink, oil, photography, sculpture, etc.).

Guests at Inspired Art may bid on each piece and proceeds from the art auction will directly advance the work of Boston Scores. The event features over 40 original works of art as well as a short speaking program and the performance of an original poem by a  Boston Scores Poet-Athlete.

How Your Support Helps

Funds raised through this event support Boston Scores’ soccer and team-based enrichment program helping students to build essential life skills and character. Learn more about the impact of our programs or make a bid at our online auction!

About The Poetry Program

In addition to playing on a soccer team, Boston Scores’ Elementary School-aged students learn how to read, interpret, write and perform poetry.

Through the Power of Poetry and Writing for the Community curricula, students not only have the chance to use poetry to share their personal experiences but also learn how to use their voice to address and raise awareness on issues that they identify in their community.
