Boston SCORES is led by a headquarters staff of 19 that possesses deep experience in youth development and share a commitment to a just and equitable future for all.
Members of our staff manage more than 120 Coach-Mentors who deliver our programs at Boston Public Schools and community partner sites.
Ethan came to Boston SCORES as an AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow in 2014. Ethan is responsible for the overall execution of our soccer programs across all age levels and locations, leads our high school soccer program and supports our community-based programs. Prior to joining Scores, Ethan was a soccer coach and English teacher in Israel with Yahel Learning Service. He played soccer at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology.
Allison joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and currently serves as the Director of Community Programs. She oversees our community-based programs in East Boston including all SCORES vacation programs and our recreational soccer club, East Boston FC. Allison played soccer at the University of Connecticut where she majored in Exercise Science. After graduating, she was an assistant women’s soccer coach at the University of Hartford, Seton Hall and Boston University. Allison is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, holds a USSF D License, and a Precise Nutrition Level 1 Coach Certification. Her favorite team is Liverpool and she was once proudly published as an elementary school poet!
Gaby joined Boston SCORES in 2020. Gaby oversees our middle school and high school enrichment programs, including supporting our One Hen coach-mentors and teams in the creation of their small businesses. Gaby played field hockey at Clark University and graduated with a degree in Sociology. Gaby has extensive experience working with middle and high school youth in the after-school arena in her previous roles at Scholar Athletes and Girls Inc. of Worcester.
Brandon joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and is responsible for managing all data collection and analysis for soccer and enrichment programs. He has experience working with youth organizations in both a sports and community setting. Brandon played volleyball in college and now serves as an assistant coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he earned his M.S. in Data Science.
Rebeca joined Boston SCORES in 2023 and is responsible for supporting mentor-coaches and students through our Power of Poetry curriculum. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in History and Spanish where she uncovered her love for multimedia storytelling and desire to support young people as they unearth and share their stories. Through work in the nonprofit space, she has also supported young folks and their families in Eastie with fitness practices. During her time at Boston SCORES, she hopes to use poetry as a vehicle for students to uncover their sense of identity, connect with others, and express transformative ideas.
Taylor joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and oversees soccer programs for elementary sites. A recent graduate from the University of New Hampshire, Taylor worked with the women’s basketball team and the athletic communications department. Additionally, Taylor has experience in coaching youth soccer, basketball and flag football for various recreation and travel teams. Most recently she worked for HUB Sports Boston where she oversaw operations for pickleball, soccer, softball and volleyball. Taylor is a fanatic for just about any women’s sport, but is most commonly found reciting the highlights of college basketball matchups.
Gabby joined Boston SCORES in 2025 and oversees various community programs including EBFC Grassroots and school vacation camps. She graduated from the City College of New York with a degree in English, where she was also captain of the women’s soccer team. Prior to Boston SCORES, she worked as an educational assistant and instructor in a variety of settings. Additionally, Gabby has experience coaching youth soccer in Massachusetts and New York.
Christian joined Boston SCORES in 2026. He graduated from UMass Boston in 2024 with a Mathematics BA and is currently a Masters student in the Sports Administration program at Boston College. He has worked as a soccer referee since 2020 and has played soccer his whole life. He is currently the captain an adult men’s team with high school and college friends. He is a huge fanatic of all things soccer, basketball and F1.
Alae is a former competitive soccer player who played for MAS, a club competing in Morocco’s D1 league. He has a BA in International Marketing, and holds his USSF D License. He moved to the U.S. in October 2024, and started coaching with Boston SCORES just two weeks later, eventually becoming a Coach Mentor-Mentor with East Boston FC. He also coached within a high-school soccer program before joining Boston SCORES full time as the Program Specialist in August 2026.
Elizabeth joined Boston SCORES in 2025, bringing with her over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience and a strong track record of expanding development efforts across Boston-based organizations. She leads fundraising strategy with a focus on authentic relationship building and revenue growth across diverse streams. Elizabeth holds degrees in Public Health and Nonprofit Management and is a fierce advocate for enriching children’s lives through multifaceted approaches. Elizabeth’s lifelong involvement in sports, service learning, and education initiatives has provided her with a deep appreciate of the importance of creating supportive, empowering environments for young people, both on and off the field.
Emma joined Boston SCORES in 2025 and leads the organization’s strategy and relationship management for corporate and institutional sponsorships. With a strong background in nonprofit development in Boston, she brings experience in building meaningful partnerships that advance mission-driven work. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Emma grew up with a love of soccer and now enjoys playing tennis and cycling in her free time.
Matthew joined Boston SCORES in May of 2026. In addition to attending Providence College (Ain’t no lairs, Go Friars), professionally Matt’s background is sales and account management, with a focus primarily on private and public schools, and getting them the tools they need to operate more efficiently. In his personal life, Matt has been involved in grassroots soccer community building for the last 11 years, having served as both the President of one of the supporter groups for the New England Revolution as well as the Vice President of the American Outlaws Providence chapter. When Matt is not working he enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing Magic the Gathering, and exploring new restaurants.
Erik joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and supports the development team with corporate partnerships and individual gifts. After graduating from UMass Amherst with a degree in communications, Erik worked in sales at Oracle. He also serves as director of a youth soccer program in Braintree where he both coaches and manages soccer programming. Erik enjoys R&B, hip hop and Latin music, and his favorite team is Real Madrid.
Kenzie joined Boston SCORES in 2024 and leads the organization’s fundraising event logistics, development operations, and brand communications, serving as a bridge between development strategy and public engagement. Originally from Minnesota, Kenzie grew up playing and coaching soccer at her local club. She is a graduate of Boston University with a BA in Political Science.
Lia joined Boston SCORES in 2026. She supports Boston SCORES’s development operations, event logistics, and brand communications. Lia graduated from The University of California, Davis in 2025, where she served as an executive board member for two non-profit organizations, organizing large-scale events and development initiatives. Having worked as a youth fitness trainer, Lia has witnessed the transformative power of sports and is passionate about empowering youth through movement.
Jon joined Boston SCORES in 2026 as Executive Director. He holds over 15 years of experience working in education, youth development, and athletics, with previous roles within Boston Public Schools and the YMCA of Greater Boston. His passion and experience in strategic planning, management and development is key to helping Boston SCORES expand its impact throughout the city. He currently lives in Charlestown with his wife and 3 kids, and is a proud coach of his daughter’s soccer team.
David joined the Boston SCORES team in 2022 as our Finance Associate and now serves as Manager of Finance and Administration. He has over eight years of local non-profit experience, including previous work at Community Art Center in Cambridge and United South End Settlements in Boston. David originally hails from Canton, Ohio, and has a degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati and Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. An avid sports fan, his favorite athlete is Sauce Gardner.
