World Cup Experiences

Quaker Player Escort Experiences

From our community to the world stage

We are thrilled to be part of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Player Escort Program. Through the initiative, 22 of our Boston SCORES and East Boston FC players will step on to one of the greatest stages in sport on July 9th. They’ll walk onto the pitch alongside some of the biggest names in soccer, then stay for the match to experience the excitement of a World Cup Game firsthand.

This life-changing opportunity is part of a wider initiative supported by The Quaker Oats Company and Common Goal, connecting young people across the U.S. to the magic of the FIFA World Cup™.

Student Outing: Scotland vs. Haiti

Through our partnership with New Balance x Soccer.com, 17 of our poet-athletes will attend the Scotland vs. Haiti World Cup match at Boston Stadium on June 13. This experience gives students the opportunity to witness world-class soccer, celebrate the global game alongside fans from around the world, and be part of the excitement surrounding one of the sport’s biggest events. Thanks to New Balance, students will also recieve exclusive gear as part of the opportunity.

Sanofi Mural

Our enrichment space is getting a World Cup makeover! Combining elements honoring the World Cup and Boston’s 250th anniversary, a custom mural is going up in our Boston SCORES classrooms! This artwork, graciously donated by Sanofi, celebrates soccer, community, and our city’s historic moment on the world stage.

New Balance Clinics

As part of our World Cup programming, Boston SCORES students will participate in a series of special clinics and events hosted in partnership with New Balance and Soccer.com. On June 11 and 12th, 100 students will have the opportunity to take part in an exciting skills clinic at SCORES Field, featuring interactive skills challenges, a merch truck, and New Balance gift bags for each student. At the clinics, students will also train with and learn from 20 players from viral soccer influencer group, Drip FC.

Then, over the weekend, female poet-athletes will have the opportunity to join a unique Poetry & Play session that combines creative expression with soccer, while students selected for the Scotland vs. Haiti World Cup match will come together for a dedicated 5v5 tournament at The TRACK.

Student-Made Zines

As part of their enrichment programming, Boston SCORES elementary school students created original zines inspired by countries participating in the FIFA World Cup 26™. They had the opportunity to choose their home countries, countries representing their community, or countries they are rooting for in the World Cup! Through research, writing, and design, students explored different cultures and traditions while connecting their learning to the world’s biggest sporting event. They proudly showcased their completed zines during their end-of-season celebration, sharing their work with families, coaches, and community members.
